Backdoor Taxes

BC Hydro has an 8.5% rise in charges in the next 2 years while the BC Liberals walk out the back door with $284 million…. all while we are paying 10x the market cost for electricity generated by Gordon Campbell’s buddies and their river wrecking Hydro projects…….slick trick Cristy.

If that was not enough ICBC costs are to rise by 11% and robbing then through the back door are……….the BC Liberals to the extent of $1.2 billion in revenues from 2010 to 2014…….

So there is no doubt these ARE taxes that they try to disguise, yes the Lieberals are that slippery!!

Force a teachers contract…really

So Mr Coleman when it suits your government to pay over the odds for staff its because you have to pay the going rate to get “the best calibre” staff out there…….So what are you going to do when there are not enough teachers because they cannot afford or want to work without a reasonable wage?  How about making private schools just that and move resources to public schools that will then compete on a level playing field?

Build your billion dollar bridges an damn the children of this Province, your party has raped the taxpayer and will do for years to satisfy the friends of the few, enjoy the ride I suspect it will be a bumpy one.

Sub Par Subway

This crumpled cup is the coffee that was served to me before I was told they did not stock sweeteners! As a part of a greatly increased cohort of Boomers and Gen X’ers who have diabetes you would think the Franchiser would seek people looking to eat a complete healthy diet, just goes to show that the advertising hype fits only those it suits. I have contacted customer service and will blog their comments here.

Good Food Found :-)

Last night I was delighted to sample the food at the Casual Gourmet situated at http://www.parkandtilford.ca/

Simply presented I had the roasted lamb with roasted peppers and other seasonal vegetables in a tasty gravy with mashed potatoes, simple but delightful…writing this is making me hungry! decor is thoughtful and subtle, I think its well worth another visit!

The BC Liberals(Lieberals) will try to tell you its gonna cost a lot to bring back PST they are smarting from the defeat…truth is that The HST the foisted upon us fleeced us so well and will for the next 2 years that the excess more than pays to get rid of it. Food for thought

I Just returned from Ricky’s all day grill at Evergreen mall in Surrey, I regularly breakfast there and have got to know the staff quite well, As I entered this morning there was a tension in the air…….The mens toilets were blocked! a facilities guy arrived and this was soon sorted, However there was egotistical client who could not get the table he wanted and he kicked up a fuss!

Kudos to the manager and staff who defused the situation I want you to know that I see the hard work you do and appreciate your efforts to make things run smoothly even when I would be tempted to smack the heads of some people who consider waitresses a target for their lack of patience.
